In a bold move that underscores its commitment to innovation and luxury, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has unveiled the Black Badge Spectre, the most powerful vehicle in the marque’s storied history. This new model, introduced on 18 February 2025 in Goodwood, West Sussex, is a testament to the brand’s dedication to meeting the evolving desires of its discerning clientele.

The Black Badge Spectre emerges as a response to the unique demands of Rolls-Royce’s most audacious customers. These individuals, known for their fearless rejection of convention, have influenced the development of a vehicle that seamlessly blends unparalleled power with the brand’s signature elegance. Chief Executive Chris Brownridge remarked, “Black Badge Spectre is one of the clearest statements of power and purpose we have ever made. Central to the Black Badge Spectre’s engineering is the utilisation of extensive anonymised driving data from existing Black Badge owners. This data-driven approach allowed Rolls-Royce to tailor the vehicle’s performance characteristics to align with real-world usage patterns. Dr Bernhard Dressler, Director of Engineering, noted, “The development of Black Badge Spectre began with our deep understanding of engineering the uncompromising nature of the Black Badge character, overlaid with the detailed analysis of client feedback and their driving style.”

At the heart of this formidable machine lies the new Infinity Mode, a feature that unleashes an impressive 485 kW (659 hp) of power. Activated via the Infinity button on the steering wheel, this mode offers drivers a more direct throttle response, enhancing the vehicle’s dynamic character. Clients are offered an extensive palette of 44,000 ‘prêt-à-porter’ colours, with the option to develop a unique hue in collaboration with the marque’s designers.
